We will be holding a try-out for all those interested in becoming memebers of The Macomb County Strength football team, in March. Though the date hasnt been set yet so keep your eyes on this board. Now, you guys are more then welcome to come out and condition with us every Wednesday from 8-10 in a gym that we've rented on 6 mile and gratiot. If you choose to come please be ready to go at 8, so if that means getting there a lil early to get dressed please do so. Again this is not a try out these are just conditioning workouts and the offical try-out will be held in March. If anyone has any questions about the Wednesday workouts give me a call 313-995-0632 my name is Wood. If you have any other questions give me a call and i'll do my best to answer them, if i dont have the answer I will get the answer for you. Look forward to seeing some new faces this year!!!!!

What's happen Dee, as coach has stated its only $5 and that goes directly towards the gym. I cant stress this enough, they close the gym on us at 10 so its very important that we get there on time so we can get in as much work as possible. Look forward to meeting you bro!!

Event: Offical Tryout for Macomb County Strength semi pro football team.

Date: March 8 2008

Time: 12 noon

Location: Delia Park (weather permitting) 18 mile and ryan


This is the offical try out for new and potential players intrested in joining the Macomb County Strength semi pro football team. This is a outdoor tryout so bring your cleats and dress according to the weather. Be prepared to be judge on 40 yard dash times, shuttle drill times and individual positon drills. Also, you'll be asked questions about your individual positon and what to do in certain game situations!

If anyone has any questions, just post them here and we'll get them answered as soon as possilbe.

Way to work last night fellas, that was a great work out!!! Continue to show up, continue to push each other, keep listening to the Vets and we'll have a great year!!! Remember one thing though, not giving it your all in your drills or cheating in your drills is only hurting you. I see everything!!!! And the coaches hear everything from me so......... just think about that for a minute!!!!

For all of those that need to get equipment i would suggest you start piecing together everything you need. Theres a place in Allen Park call Parks Athletic Supply they have some good stuff at some good prices and they can be talked down if you have that gift of gab. Also, theres a place called Dee's on Gratiot and 12 mile they have some good stuff but i personally think their prices are a bit high on some things. But do you!! It would be in your best intrest to have all of your equipment by at least late March we'll be starting our full equipment practices in April but i would be prepared to start in late March if i was you!!!

Event: Mandatory Team Meeting for Current and Potential Players


When: Wednesday February 27, 2008 starting at 8:00 p.m


Where: Assumption Grotto Church 13770 Gratiot Ave. This is the gym we are already practicing at.


This is a mandatory event for all who plan on being apart of The Strength football team this coming season. Coach Tatman will be discussing our current field situation, team fees, league dues and lot more so be there!!! Again this is MANDATORY for everyone who plans on being apart of this team this season, so plan accordingly and get the word out so those that might not check the board know to be there. I believe Coach wants this to be part 1 of you guys try out also so be there ON TIME so we can get everything done!!


If you know someone who hasnt come out yet but wants to be apart of the team let them know this is the meeting they NEED to come to!!!
